Seattle 1998

This was our first TESOL as exhibitors, so we had a small booth. However the weather for Seattle in March wasn't so bad. We met a lot of people and thoroughly enjoyed our first TESOL EME (Educational Materials Exhibition).

New York 1999

The Big Apple, what can one say. The Dow broke 10,000 during the conference and so did TESOL with its conference participants. One of the best attended TESOL events to date and right in the heart of Manhatten. What can one say?

Vancouver, Canada 2000

Great to be in Canada for the Year 2000. Right beside the harbour in the Pan Pacific Complex, the materials exhibition had the constant background of seaplanes coming and going giving the event an exotic feeling.

St. Louis 2001

Home to some of the best smokey Jazz from off the Mississippi, the conference venue being right downtown St. Louis was convenient and helped the conference be a great success.

Salt Lake City 2002

Nestled in amongst the mountains of Salt Lake. The conference was held shortly after Salt Lake got finished with their Winter Olympics, giving the conference an international appeal.

Baltimore 2003

On the great Chesapeake Bay, the downtown venue, just beside the harbour was a delight. Beyond the exhibits and presentations the central location was excellent for its many restaurants all within walking distance. The crab cakes were a must!

Long Beach 2004

Right beside the harbour in the shadow of the Queen Mary, Long Beach proved an excellent venue for the 2004 conference.

San Antonio 2005

Just down the road from the Alamo, San Antonio put out a fine welcome for all the TESOL delegates, who enjoyed not only the conference but also the nearby river walk and its many cafes and restaurants. Thank you San Antonio for the great Texan hospitality!

Tampa Bay 2006

Spring Break in Florida! Tampa was a great host for TESOL 2006. The weather was outstanding and of course the city offered conference go-ers a great many treats. Although the TESOL 2006 was slightly smaller conference than others in the past, we felt it to be one of the better conferences. Thanks Tampa.

Seattle 2007

This is still down the road and not til 2007. We were in Seattle at the 1998 conference. It was our first. So we're looking forward to visiting Seattle again.
