TESOL Arabia 2010

March 11-13 at the Zayed University Conference Centre in Dubai, U.A.E.
This is the 16th annual TESOL Arabia conference. The theme this year is transformations in TESOL. ABAX will have its own display, next to Black Cat readers. ABAX is represented in the UAE, Oman and Qatar by the Al Mutannabi bookshop.

TESOL Annual Convention 2010

March 24-27 at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center.
At this, the 49th annual TESOL convention, ABAX will not have its own display but you can find our representative at the English Centre display.

IATEFL Annual Convention 2010

April 7-11 at the Harrogate International Centre.
You can find ABAX books at the English Language Bookshop display.

CATESOL 2010

April 22-25, at the Santa Clara Convention Center & Hyatt Regency Santa Clara in Santa Clara, California. ABAX author Adam Gray (Fiction in Action: Whodunit) will be presenting on A Task-based Approach to Narrow Reading (Paper ID: 17800). Plus look for the ABAX America display.

ECAP 2010

May 30 at the Yomiuri Shimbun Building in Otemachi, Tokyo, Japan.
The ELT Career and Professional Development conference is a day of keynote addresses followed by thematically-connected workshops that we put on with fellow organizers Cambridge University Press, the British Council and Teachers College, Columbia University and sponsor, the Daily Yomiuri newspaper. This is the fourth time we've done this and this time round there will be four ABAX-sponsored speakers. For more information check our Japan website from April 5 on.

KOTESOL 2010

October 16-17 at Sookmyung Women's University in Seoul, Korea.
This year KOTESOL also plays host to the Pan-Asian Consortium of Language Teaching Societies (PAC). In Korea ABAX is represented by Town Books (Communication Spotlight), by YBM-Sisa (Top-Up Listening) and by Compass Media (What's in the Cards?, Photocopiable Pairworks for Children)

JALT 2010

November 20-22 in Nagoya Japan.
It's been 14 years since JALT was last held in Nagoya. We didn't have our own display at that JALT but have been displaying at every JALT conference since. This year's conference is to be held in the brand new WINC Hall (Aichi Industry and Labor Center), a two minute walk from Nagoya's main station. Tim Murphey, author of Language Hungry! (distributed by ABAX in Japan), will be one of the plenary speakers.
